Northwest Green Home Tour
April 27, 2013. ShelterKraft displayed our model container house – the CargoCottage – as part of Seattle’s annual Green Home Tour. Sites all over the city featured eco-friendly building, energy and landscaping solutions.

Northwest SolarFest 2012
July 28, 2012. ShelterKraft displayed our little green CargoCottage at the Northwest SolarFest, a renewable energy and sustainable living festival held at Shoreline Community College, Saturday July 28, 10 am – 6 pm. Festival attendees enjoyed workshops, food and live music, kids area, electric cars, and speakers like Graham Kerr, the Galloping Gourmet. And we even got to see some sun!
Earth Day with the Seattle Green Home Tour
April 21-22, 2012. ShelterKraft participated in the 2012 Green Home Tour, sponsored by the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild. We were situated alongside our friends at Green Home Solutions as one of multiple sites all over the Seattle area featuring homes that were built green, renovations, energy retrofits, eco-friendly landscaping, and more.
Seattle Home Show 2012
February 28, 2012. ShelterKraft displayed the model CargoCottage at the Seattle Home Show, which ran from February 18-26 at Century Link Field Event Center. It was a smashing event and we met lots of great folks.
In conjunction with the show, on Saturday 2/28 Kai was interviewed by local Fox News affiliate Q13 and we got a spotlight on the 9pm/10pm television news broadcast that night.
On Tuesday ShelterKraft also did a quickie live interview on KIRO News Radio.
